WEBVTT JERRY: HERE WE ARE, A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT ACROSS NORTH ALABAMA UNTIL 2:00 THE MORNING YOUR ALSO MUCH OF NORTH MISSISSIPPI AND A GOOD CHUNK OF TENNESSEE. THERE ARE WARNINGS AROUND THE EDGES OF THIS, THAT MIGHT DESCRIBE THE REST OF TONIGHT. ON THE LIVE DOPPLER, A COUPLE OF TINY SHOWERS DEVELOPING, BUT VERY MINOR. WE ARE NOT CONCERNED ABOUT THEM. WE HAVE MUCH STRONGER CONVECTION OF HEARING EASTERN TENNESSEE, INCLUDING A TORNADO WARNING AND SEVERAL THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS. IT LOOKS LIKE THAT WILL STAY NORTHEAST OF US, IT MIGHT BRUSH OUR NORTHEASTERN COUNTIES. TO THE WEST, A LARGE AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING RAPIDLY SOUTHEASTWARD. THIS MIGHT PASS JUST SOUTH OF THE VIEWING AREA, ALTHOUGH IT MIGHT CLIP PARTS OF SUMTER AND PICKENS COUNTY. I THINK THE EXTREME WESTERN PART OF THE STATE, THE EXTREME EASTERN PART, STILL A CHANCE OF SEVERE WEATHER OVERNIGHT. THE STORMS AND TENNESSEE HAVE A WHOLE TIME HOLDING TOGETHER, SO FOR NOW, THAT SHOULD HELP SOMEWHAT. THE POTENTIAL ARRIVING OF STORMS, 1:00 UNTIL 4:00 A.M. TO THE NORTH. EVERYTHING HAS DEVELOPED SO MUCH MORE SLOWLY THAN WE THOUGHT. DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL, MEDIUM THREATS, FLASH FLOODING. THE TORNADO THREAT IS NOT ZERO BUT IT IS PRETTY LOW FOR MOST OF THE VIEWING AREA. TOMORROW, A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER FOR PRETTY MUCH THE ENTIRE VIEWING AREA. TAKING YOU OVERNIGHT, WE COULD SEE SOME STORMS IN THE NORTHEAST. AROUND 5:00 OR 6:00 THE MORNING, THAT’S WHERE MOST OF THE ACTION IS. LATER TOMORROW AFTERNOON, ADDITIONAL STORMS MAY FORM, SO WE WILL KEEP IN -- KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THAT. 3:00, A FEW THUNDERSTORMS IN THE EAST. THERE COULD STILL BE STRONG, LOCALLY SEVERE. PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES, AND THEN SUNDAY SHOULD BE ACCOMMODATED WE WILL STILL CALL -- SUNDAY SHOULD BE A KALMAR DAY. WE WILL STILL CALL TOMORROW A SEVERE DAY. HIGH OF ABOUT 92. LESS ACTION ON SUNDAY, PARTIALLY SUNNY. NEXT WEEK LOOKS UNSETTLED, STORMS EACH DAY. TYPICAL FOR SUMMERT
