The assault happened about 2 a.m. at the HotSpot on Highway 221 South.

Shortly after the assault deputies released pictures of Jeremy Ferguson as a person of interest.
Deputies told WYFF just after 9 a.m. that Ferguson was in custody. The sheriff's office says he was taken for questioning with investigators.
WYFF News 4's Kylie Jones spoke to a number of neighbors and people nearby who say they knew Ferguson.
“Heartbreaking for a family," Ferguson's neighbor Christi Corley said. "That’s somebody’s family that he’s done this too.”
Corley says Ferguson lives a few houses down from her. She says she wasn't shocked when she heard what happened.
“I was not surprised, but I was on guard at that point,” Corley said.
She says Ferguson is well-known within the community.
“He’s not very liked in that respect," she said. "Because he is trouble and has been trouble.”
