LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif vision for women safety is being materialised. The Punjab Safe Cities Authority has initiated the construction of a hostel for women police communication officers.

According to details, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, laid the foundation stone of the hostel at a designated place in Qurban Line. The hostel will have a capacity of 200 beds and is expected to be completed within a year.

The spokesperson for Safe Cities stated that the residential issues of women police communication officers working in Safe City will be resolved.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif had promised to address the residential issues of Lady Police Communication Officers. The Lady Police Communication Officer expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of Punjab for the hostel.
