In April of this year, the first lady was photographed attending the 2024 White House Easter Egg Roll in a pair of knee-high brown suede boots. Biden’s shoes, worn in a rich caramel colorway, were adorned with a rounded-toe silhouette, estimated 2-inch block heel and exposed stitching detail.
Cinco de Mayo, which marks Mexico’s victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862, has become a celebration of Mexican-American culture in the U.S. The President invited Jaquez to speak during the White House’s Cinco de Mayo reception as a representative of his Mexican-American culture.
