About the Shoes

The first lady’s shoes, made from 100% calf leather and suede, featured a pointed-toe silhouette and an 11cm, or 4.3-inch, heel. These pumps, designed in Spain, included a slingback strap for fit. Her shoes were adorned with a row of rectangular crystals along the upper vamp, adding a reflective shine as she walked through the property’s Rose Garden.

A number of stars have recently been spotted in the same lime green colorway as they attend red carpet premieres, Hollywood parties and events. Most recently, “Euphoria’s” Hunter Schafer was photographed after stepping out for dinner at Funke Restaurant in Los Angeles in a pair of green satin pumps. The actress’ shoes featured an elongated pointed-toe silhouette, rounded topline and an estimated 2-inch stiletto heel.

Bright Hues: An Emerging Designer Trend

From Stuart Weitzman and Gianvito Rossi to Prada and Gucci, a number of designers have integrated neon colorways into their most recent footwear collections. Desperate to stand out among the pool of designers implementing bright hues into their spring presentations, brands will implement unique silhouettes, whimsical adornments and textured accents into their shoes for a modern look.
