Flash Photonics Names Dr. Stephen P. Smith President

Dr. Smith will bring a wealth of technology sales experience to the premier distributor of innovative photonic solutions in North America

REDMOND, WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES, August 21, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Flash Photonics is excited to announce that Dr. Stephen P. Smith will be assuming the role of President, effective immediately. Dr. Smith brings a wealth of experience to the role, both in advising numerous growth companies and in the development and distribution of photonic and spectroscopic systems at CYC Technology Group over the past 15 years. Stephen served as Director of North American Sales for Quantel USA during a breakout period of growth for the company, from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, he managed Northeast (US) sales for Coherent for 15 years. Dr. Smith has a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Cornell University and is a long-time member of the Optical Society of America, American Chemical Society, ASNT, SPIE, and American Physical Society.
